Parents As Teachers

Early childhood is a vital period for brain development, with 90% of a child’s brain formed by age 5. The Parents as Teachers program empowers parents of children 0–3 by offering them the tools and strategies needed to nurture their child's growth—cognitively, socially, and emotionally.

PAT is an evidence-based home visitation program designed to support parents and caregivers, helping them foster the best possible start for their child’s development, learning, and health.

The program includes:

  • Home Visits – Personalized support to guide your child's development.

  • Group Connections – Opportunities to connect with other parents and share experiences.

  • Resource Network – Access to valuable resources and community support.

  • Child Screening – Regular check-ins to monitor your child's growth and development.
